Covid and Classes
Our facility is over 20,000sf so we have more than enough room for distancing.
Covid screening occurs at the entrance and a hand sanitizer station is there for each attendees use. Masks are required.
Between classes, contact surfaces and chairs are disinfected. This could cause a slight delay in start time. We ask for your patience with this.
We are here to provide you with dog training to improve and maintain the mental health and welfare of your dog through education, experience and exposure. We have already witnessed the incredible problems presented from the first shutdown with so many dogs that did not get educated nor exposed to people and other dogs.
Restrictions imposed by government changes and this may from time to time affect how many people can attend classes. We are offering our programs which are about your dog and not about children but we are not here to train your children. Under normal circumstances, we do our best to include the whole family however, covid has impacted our operations. You are signing up for dog training classes and that is what we promise to deliver. We cannot promise that your whole family will be able to attend. These programs are about getting your dog educated and socialized. It is up to you to teach your children how to behave and/or handle the dog at home.
Classes are for the transfer of knowledge from trainer to dog owner. The real training happens with you, the other 6 days 23 hours of the week.
We do not provide any consideration for refunds for cancellations after a class has started. Your enrollment is for the spot in the program's start date you registered for. Request to cancel must be received 5 days prior to start date and is subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
Dog Daycare
Socialization is important for the health and welfare of your dog. This is even more important during a shut down when opportunities are diminished and or eliminated.
Our business is deemed essential. Dogs that are not socialized can suffer a lifetime of social deficits and many related behaviour problems. We have already experienced this with the shutdown from March 2020.
Our daycare continues to operate.
We have installed a doorbell outside for parking lot pick up if restrictions imposed force this.
Otherwise, we welcome you to come in for pick up and drop off. Masks are required for entry and hand sanitizer is available. Our foyer is large enough to stay apart and our facility is cleaned and disinfected regularly.
We are altering our hallway and will be changing the system with leashes to avoid contact. Our staff will utilize slip leads, which are safer overall.
Boarding
We recognize that from time to time, dogs require overnight care.
We are offering this service in December 2020. Please feel free to discuss this option with us. The government has deemed our business as an essential service and we will continue to operate as long as it safe to do so.
Our facility has been inspected by the province and deemed compliant. We have over 36,000sf in which to work in.We utilize professionally provided and guided products and protocols. We implemented additional protocols before it even became mandated back in January 2020.We are committed to providing you and your dog with the best possible environment and services while operating under the guidelines and restrictions. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to share them with us.
